Reciprocal Agreements

PEER Group of Cincinnati, Inc. is always looking into establishing better relations with groups in our region.  One of the key ways we seek to accomplish this is through our Reciprocal/Affiliate Agreement program.

This program, established back in 1997 by our group, allows our group members to attend functions that your group may hold as if they were members of your group at the same price and restrictions imposed on your own members. Obviously your members would be welcome at our group functions under the same terms. Your members would also receive preferential treatment in the registration process for our meetings, special events, play parties and presentation programs at our member prices.

We will also offer to your member’s information including maps and directions around our city, along with the name and contacts for discounted hotel/motel reservations while visiting our area.

We feel that this program helps to foster a more cohesive region and the opportunity to share with people of like mind.

Attached you will find several items from our group which will give you an indication of where our group is going in the next year including a brochure on our new enhanced Presentation Schedule.

Our group has been in existence in Cincinnati for over 14 years. We have an ongoing mentorship program and membership to our group is based on a two step process starting with a provisional membership wherein a mentor/sponsor works with proposed members for a period of time until they feel the person has enough of a grasp of lifestyle issues to be able to protect themselves and others. They would then be considered for full membership by the existing members.

We use to hold about 14 Parties per year in a 6,000 sq ft dungeon that is will equipped with; 4- motorized suspension frames, 2 rope beds, 1 GT horse cross, 3-leather slings, 2GT chairs, 1 trolley mounted suspension frame, 4 steel cages, 5 spanking benches, 1- stocks set, 1 spider web frame, 2 pillory posts, and much more.

This area is supported by a JBL concert Sound Reinforcement System, Professional Lighting System, 2 Video Projection Screens, and a large separate dining and social area with refrigeration and cooking facilities and a separate wide screen TV area with comfortable lounge chairs.

For 2008 our events will include the same play equipment and support equipment in a different venue and the number of parties will be reduced to about 8 while we finalize plans and location for the building of a dedicated meeting and play space that will be between 15 and 18,000 square feet. We expect to break ground sometime in the fall of 2008 based solely on the legal issues of zoning being resolved.

We are holding 8 major presentations per year, and 10 discussion meetings. In addition we will hold our 2nd 3-day event this fall as an extension of our Halloween Party called Pheerfest, which will have approximately 25 presenters from around the country.

We have 4 fully operational SIGS, meeting at least one time per month and several of our members are the founding partners in the Ohio River Valley chapter of MAsT, which has three, major three day events in the coming year.

The group is governed by the tribalism model, supported by a board of directors of 7 individuals confirmed by the general membership, and has 14 standing committees that are responsible for the day-to-day operation of the group.  We have a formal arbitration policy for the inevitable disputes that may arise chaired by 5 scene members from other groups, in other cities in the area, to avoid any conflict of interest.

In this program we off two different types of arrangements, the first is our reciprocal program which requires the reciprocal group to offer an formal ongoing educational program, while in the affiliate program is designed to accommodate the groups that are organized as munch/social, online, and Play Party groups.

If we can provide any further information or answer any specific questions please do not hesitate to contact us.

We would be interested in hearing more about your group, its operation and how we might cooperate in helping each other to foster a more cohesive lifestyle community. We also would like to hear your thoughts in forming a reciprocal/affiliate relationship and how that might be accomplished.

You may contact us at OtherGroupandEvents@BDSM-PEERGroup.com for more information or to start the process.
